If you’ve been admitted to study at University of Pretoria (UP) congratulations!Prospective students can now register to study at UP for 2025 academic year.
UP online registration will be available on the UP Student Portal from 3 January 2025. The Registration Call Centre will be available from 4 January 2025 to 16 February 2024 from 08:00 to 16:00.The information in this article will guide you with UP registrations process.
UP Online Registration 2025
- To register Log in to UP Student Portal, click on the UP Student Centre link and check for holds in the right column of the student centre. If there are any holds, students will not be able to register.
- Consult the Yearbooks for information on which modules to choose and curriculum.
- You can pay by credit card or cheque card online or at the bank 5 days ahead of registration.

UP registration dates 2025
- In-person registration assistance will be available at Hillcrest Campus from 25 January 2024 to 16 February 2025.
- Masters, Doctorate and Phd Online registration opens 16 December 2024.
- Current and Hons students will be able to register online from 3 January 2025 to 1 March 2025.
- New first-year students will be able to register online from 25 January 2025 to 1 March 2025
