Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University(SMU)online applications for 2025 academic year.SMU welcomes prospective students who wish to pursue undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications to apply for admission before the closing date.

Required documents

Please remember to upload the following certified and individually scanned (pdf format only) documents:

1. Certified copy of your ID/passport document (compulsory).
2. Certified Grade 11 end of year examination results (for those currently in grade 12) or your National Senior/Matric/IEB Certificate (if you have already completed Grade 12).
3. Those rewriting NSC, must indicate on the application and submit proof of re-writing.
4. Certified copies of your degree certificate(s) and academic record (if you attended or are currently a student at SMU or another university).
5. Certified copy of your marriage certificate (if applicable).
6. Proof of payment of the compulsory and non-refundable application fee of R300.00

• Anser few questions and click on accept
• Fill in the online application form
• Ulpoad required documents
• Pay an application fee of R300.0
• Submit your application
