University of Pretoria (UP) online applications for 2026 academic year are now open.Prospective students who wish to pursue their undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications can now apply for admission.
The University of Pretoria (UP) is a seven-campus public university in South Africa and its the largest world’s leading research universities.
University of Pretoria offers wide range of courses across their nine faculties,Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences,Faculty of Education,Faculty of Engineering, Built Environment and Information Technology,Faculty of Health Science,Faculty of Humanities,Faculty of Law,Faculty of Natural an,Agricultural Sciences,Faculty of Theology and Religion and Faculty of Veterinary Science
To apply online at UP you will need the following
- internet access
- an email address which you can access regularly, because as soon as you submit your online application, a student number (EMPLID) will be sent to this email address as confirmation of receipt.

- Click on APPLY NOW
- Click on i want to then select new application if you are fisrt time applic
- Enter the “Security Code” shown on your page and click on “create application id”
- Enter “Application ID” and “Password” received in the automated email, then click on “login”
- Fill in the online application form correctly
- Upload Required documents;Copy of ID and passport,Grade 11 report or your final results,Proof of payment of application fee
- Pay the applicatio fee (R300)
- Click apply to submit your application
- Click on complete the application process
UP application closing dates 2025
Applications to study at UP are fully online for all programmes and pens from 2nd April ,Application for admission to undergraduate study programmes for both South African and international citizens close on specific dates in the year preceding the year of study.
Faculty of Veterinary Science: 31 May
All other faculties: 30 June
